I use an alligator clip for the clippies and wrap the clip with 3/8" ribbon for a secure hold. The alligator clip is the best clip to use with our interchangeable bowbands. The French clip is available in 3 lengths and is best for older girls.
Any of my hair bows can be attached to a lined alligator clip. The clip is lined with 3/8" grosgrain ribbon and will secure the hair bow in thin hair. I also suggest placing your daughters hair in a pony first, then clipping an alligator clip (lined or unlined) or a French clip over the pony. The clip will cover the pony and will ensure the clip stays secure.
